Matt has more than two decades of experience in our Transportation group. His work embodies our values of fostering long-term client relationships, developing creative solutions, and designing for various community needs. As the technical lead for highway engineering, he applies these values in a wide range of projects.?
In his senior associate role, Matt works on the technical management of almost all projects that run through our Albany office. He leads engineers doing project work and coordinates with project managers. Thriving on work for complex jobs, such as the Southeast Stoney Trail, a key section of the Calgary Ring Road, a six-lane freeway in Alberta, Matt led our design-build effort for this project. This included two system interchanges, four service interchanges, and 13 bridges. He participated in extensive collaboration and coordination to properly align the segments he was designing to those already built.
Away from his engineering and leadership work, Matt loves being outdoors—hiking is his favorite way of connecting with nature.??
