Growing up raising pigs and selling plants, Travis spent his childhood on an old dairy farm converted into a plant nursery. This experience gave him a deep appreciation for natural systems. At age 16, he started his own landscaping business where he developed a passion for design and construction.
Travis has worked on a wide range of projects close to home and around the world. He¡¯s focused on designing the urban realm, from city parks, public plazas, and streetscapes to roof decks, multiuse trails, and campus-wide master plans. His favorite projects are at the intersection of repurposing and restoring marginalized sites, creating resilient, community-oriented spaces that foster a strong connection between people and nature.
Whether designing international or local, Travis takes into account the context and spirit of place to create meaningful and memorable landscapes.
