Diana’s interest in archaeology began at age nine when she visited Kingsley Plantation National Park on a school trip. Eventually, as a student at the University of Florida, she returned to the site for an archaeological field school. She went on to focus on the site for her MA research, which combined digital technologies and traditional archaeology to share the site’s history with the public.
Today, with nearly 15 years of professional cultural resources management experience, Diana has consulted with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as historical societies and the public. She’s participated in, directed, and managed various projects across Florida, Mississippi, New Jersey, Utah, and Texas, as well as New Zealand, and St. Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies.
Away from consulting on archaeological projects, Diana enjoys exploring public parks, hiking, and gardening.
