A professional engineer, Khalid specializes in electrical systems and design for labs, warehouses, healthcare, and education projects. He’s provided an array of electrical engineering services such as calculations for electric service and electrical distribution, controls, fire alarm, and lighting designs. He also prepares due diligence studies and electrical construction documents, including specifications and cost estimates, in accordance with all applicable codes and customer requirements.
Khalid is passionate about designing for sustainability. He performs detailed field surveys and works with various manufacturers in obtaining necessary equipment information for layouts, specifications, and electrical design parameters, helping meet electrical design requirements for green building practices.
Also of note, Khalid has received regional and national awards. These include the New York Institute of Technology Ingenium Rising Star award and the National Society of Professional Engineering New Professional Engineer of the Year.
When he isn’t busy with electrical engineering efforts, Khalid enjoys training in jiujitsu, Muay Thai, judo, and various other styles.
