With over a decade of experience in the fire industry, Emma leads teams in conducting and writing all types of fire risk assessments for a wide variety of highly complex, technical buildings. This includes delivering RIBA Stage 5 assessments and external wall surveys, especially for high-rise residential buildings.
Bringing a strong understanding of the UK’s fire safety regulations, Emma has a particular skill performing fire risk assessments and fire risk management on real estate portfolios, applying the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Fire Safety England Regulations 2021. With previous experience working for several local authority fire and rescue service teams, her work involves making sure large numbers of buildings for clients have detailed, accurate and up-to-date fire risk assessments that reflect potential risks to occupants.
In 2024, Emma was a Women in Fire awards finalist. Outside of work, she enjoys playing board games, socialising with friends, attending live music gigs, and cooking.
